General Information about our apartments, Cala n Porter and Menorca

Due to the number of steps in the complex these apartments are unsuitable for the less mobile.

A basic food pack is provided for your arrival, which will include water, milk, tea, coffee, sugar, a bottle of pop and a bottle of wine.

Shops and supermarkets in Cala’n Porter are approximately 700 metres or five minutes walk from the complex.

The beach approximately 900 metres or 10 minutes walk due to the amount of steps down to and up from the beach. In the centre of Cala’n Porter there is a train which runs down to the beach via the roadway. If you have a car there is ample parking directly next to the beach,

The airport is approximately 10 minutes by car from the complex.

Mahon is approximately 15 minutes by car from the complex, buses run at frequent intervals throughout the day into Mahon.

Market days in Mahon are Tuesday and Saturday.

Buses are available from the main bus station in Mahon to any where on the island.

Do remember that in Spain we have a siesta and most shops close between 1.00 p.m. and 5.00 p.m. except some supermarkets and bars and restaurants.

Son Parc is the centre for golf enthusiasts this is to the north of the island approximately 20 minutes by car.

Car hire can be arranged through a local company whereby cars can be picked up on arrival at the airport and left at the airport on departure. For this facility and prices please contact us.
